Biography....
James graduated from GSA Conservatoire in July 2005 with First Class Honours. Whilst training his favourite roles included Robert Browning in Robert and Elizabeth and Buddy Foster in the UK Premiere production of Bill Russell's Side Show (Electric Theatre and Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford). Prior to GSA, James trained with the National Youth Music Theatre playing principal roles in UK and Japan Tours of Pendragon and The Dreaming as well as performing at numerous corporate events and royal galas across the country. James has recently completed a year in the West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as Asher and understudy to Lee Mead in the title role. Other theatre credits: Ru in Merrily We Roll Along (Derby Playhouse); Crow and u/s Tinman in The Wizard of Oz (RSC Version at West Yorkshire Playhouse); The Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park 2006 Season, playing Marcel in The Boy Friend, Peaseblossom, u/s Lysander, and u/s Snug in A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Haberdasher and u/s Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew; Topper in the UK touring production of Scrooge the Musical starring Shane Ritchie; Airman Clarke in Into Thin Air! (New Players Theatre, London) and PC Ping Pong in Aladdin (Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford). Further credits: Policeman in Waking the Dead - Series 5 (BBC Television); ; Guest performer at the Queen's 80th Birthday Celebrations .
